ADC200/212 connection

Post by HTDesign »

I have an ADC-200, and two ADC=212s that I have inherited from the original purchaser, JCI Ltd. I had one of the ADC-212s working on a windows XP laptop via a pcmcia/parallel adaptor. The laptop died. I find that I cannot get either of two windows 98 computers to recognise any of the ADCs, despite downloading PicoFull_r5_16_2.exe several times from your website. I have tried all combinations of the ADCs, computers and two printer cables (full 25-way). I have tried setting printer ports via setup to standard/ecp/epp to no avail.

Where am I going wrong?

Help please!

Hi,

please give me an idea about a trouble with a desktop with win98SE and lpt with adc212-50 parallel.
I need to use this pc because I have Audio Precision Syst. One connected on LPT1 ( basic port) and it is running.
I bought a parallel pci card, I configured it as LPT2 then I downloaded the sw 5.16.2 foe Win98; after the installation it doesn't work.
What's wrong?

Thx in advance

Walter

Have you checked the knowledge base article in the previous post. It mentions that you need WinXp or later to work.

Hy Martin,

thx for answer but my problem is to reach the possibility to work with one pc with two software.
The Apwin for Audio precision System One works with win98, no other chance ( :( ).
From your answer I suppose that there isn't a solution, right?

Unfortunately in this instance there is no solution that we can suggest. Sorry.
