Picolog not responding on record

Post by JonG »

Hi

I've seen a number if similar posts on here but not seem to have an answer for me!

I'm running the most recent version of picolog on a win7 notebook with a TC08 (serial)

Picolog runs up fine and displays the temperature value fine and lets me specify a data file.

As soon as I click "record" picolog stops responding.

I know you're going to say:-
the TC08 (serial) isn't getting enough power (I'm now running with a powered hub!)
the power saving option are causing a problem (I'm now running in power hungry mode with all power saving off!)
the s/w has corupted so re-install (I have done!)

Other ideas would be appriciated as I need to get this going and my options are getting fewer!

Thanks Jon

Hi the question is what kind of USB to serial converter are you using? As this can make a difference, I have had customers who have used USB to serial converters that simply do not provide enough power under load.

Kind regards
