Loggin frequency against time

Post by martinbass7750 »

Hi,

I want to log variation of frequency against time. I'm happy to review the saved log to make frequency measurements.

The frequencies I want to measure are between 20KHz and 40KHz, with periods of off time as well.

I guess I need to sample at around 200 K/sec to get reasonable resolution in the log.

So I have been playing with the demo version of picoscope 6, but I've only manged to save 100 waveforms, is that what you would expect?

I want to log this over several minutes if at all possible, do you have any suggestions?

Regards

Hi Martin,

The 4223(4)/4423(4) scopes have a frequency mode where you can log frequency versus time, however this is only for 0-20kHz and 0-2kHz.

Kind regards
