Trigger rearm time?

Post by pgaastra »

Hi,

I have just been looking at some I2C signals. I have a write followed 1.5ms later by a read. If the write fills the whole screen then the read is missed. If I slow down the time base, I can see both the write and the read and the I2C gets decoded correctly.

My question is: Can I workout the rearm rate of my setup or is it dependant on USB data rate, PC CPU speed etc?

Thanks

Hi the rearm rate is normally in milliseconds and it will vary from PC to PC. If you have one of the deep memory devices then you also have the option of rapid trigger which drops re-arm time to a microsecond.

What device do you have and what timebase were you choosing?

Kind regards
