Problem with ADC-16

Post by Barzdaz »

Hello,

First of all, sorry for my bad English and the lack of a technical knowledge of the system.

1) I'm using ADC-16 transfer card for transferring data from electrodes to pc. I've been working with this card for a while now and it worked fine, then after some time I started getting a signal which was clearly too high, from a one channel, and wasn't supposed to be that way (over +2500mV). I couldn't find the solution for this problem and adjusting the power of the signal didn't change the outcome of the data. I tried changing the channel for the signal but the outcome was the same.

2) I tried to reinstall the Pico-logo software, change amplifiers and when I tried to repeat the experiment - all channels started to show data like one and signal started to react to amplifying conversely (when I increased the signal - it decreased and vice versa). One more thing - program now is showing one channel, which is not even connected to the card and what is surprising, it react to amplifying the right way, unlike the connected channels.

So basically we had a problem first problem and when we tried to fix it, we got the second problem. So is there a solution to this? Should we change the whole device or is there any other way? Please, help!

And again, sorry for my poor English. If there's anything you didn't understand I'll try to explain further.

Thank you in advance.

Hi in order to establesh if the unit is working can you use a single ended input to measure the voltage of a battery ( say 1.5V) and see if the measurement seems fine.

Kind regards
