Picoscope tries to open on second monitor

Post by pgaastra »

Hi,

I was running my PC with two monitors. Somehow the second monitor drive has died and Picoscope opens off screen. Where the second monitor used to be.

I am using Windows XP. I no longer have the desktop expanded to two screens.

I have tried uninstalling Picoscope software and reinstalling it.

Any way of getting Picoscope to run on the only remaining screen?

Hi There,

One thing to try could be the keyboard shortcut to swap programs between monitors.

Even if you cannot see PicoScope, when it is open, you should be able to click it on the startbar (at the bottom of the screen) and make it the active window. Now:

Hold Shift
Hold the windows 'logo' key (usually located between Ctrl and Alt)
Press the left arrow on the keyboard.

This keyboard shortcut moves the active window (whichever program it may be) to the left monitor. It is not PicoScope specific.
