T08 and 230V measuring

Post by Ward »

Goodday,

Today we recieved our T08 and started testing it. Until now it works properly.

But now we would like to log voltages up to 230V. Is there any way to do this.
For us the most important aspect is that we can measure the temperature and the voltage at the same time and we can see it in the same grafic

Thanks in advance

Hi the TC-08 is not suitable to log these voltages as it can only measure +/-70mV, even with the small channel terminal board this is not suitable.

You really need something that is designed to measures these voltages, the TA041 is CATIII rated which means you can use it to measure mains.

You can then use the TA041 an oscilloscope like the 2203:

I hope this helps.

Ok, Thank you Ziko
We are discussing the 2 devices at the moment. At the meantime can you give some more info about the compatibilety betwine the registration programs for the TO8 (picolog) and the 2203 (?).

Is it the same program?
And if it is the same program is it possible to collect data at the same time in the same grafic. In general: wil the results from both the temperture and voltage logger show up in the same grafic or is the a third party program neccesary like Microsoft Excel?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Yes you can run both devices in Picolog recorder at the same time and have the data on the same graph or spreadsheet view.

Hope this helps.
