Reading a .psdata file from a perl script?

Post by ceilbeck »

Hi. I'm new to picoscope but I now have a 5204 and am loving it. I've been given some files from a previous use, in .psdata from picoscope v6, and I need to read the data into a perl script. I'm doing this to decode a custom serial comms protocol. I've had a quick look around the forums and website but I can't see a file format definition. Is this public information? Has anyone already written a perl module that they'd be prepared to share which can read this file format?

Thanks for any help you can give.

Chris

Hi there is no format definition provided, you can however convert the file to be binary mat lab 4 format. If you right click on the file you should have the conversion options.

Kind regards
