X and Y Cursors how to turn on

Post by mrtch »

I am new to Picoscope and cannot figure out how to turn on the x and y cursors. I see examples of them being used on the internet, but I cannot find any tab for them. I did see where someone said if you click on the screen you get a cursor, but I do not. I get the position in time and amplitude of where my cursor is, but not a permanent cursor so I can take measurements.

I do use the measurements as well, but I want my own x and y to measure items not allowed on the measurement menu.

Thanks

You will find two horizontal rulers for each active channel. These can be dragged down from the upper corners of the screen with your left mouse button. Click and drag the small square boxes at the top of the channel scaling. These are color coded to each channel.

You will find two vertical rulers in the lower left of the screen. These appear as a small white box at the left of the time scaling. Click and drag them in the same manner.

Autonerdz

Thanks a million. You would guess that it would be in the manual, but sadly it isn't. Thanks again for your quick reply.

You're welcome, Brian.

You should find that in the 'How To' section of the Users Guide under Help.
