AWG query

Post by KennyM »

Hi all,
I would like to use the AWG on a 2205 to generate a 38kHz square wave which is then switched on and off at 10ms intervals.

Can anyone direct me as to how (or even if?) this can be done in PicoScope 6?

Many thanks.

Hi,
I attach a (zipped) .csv file I created in Excel which generates what you want when loaded into the AWG (use "Import"). Set the AWG frequency to 50Hz (10mS "ON" & 10mS "OFF", repeated). You can also adjust the amplitude and offset. The .csv file is simply a column of numbers, "-1" & "+1", repeated for 720 cells, followed by 720 cells containing "0". Save as .csv file.
I have tried it on a 2205 and it works well.
Regards,
PeterF.
