Not seeing data from stored files

Post by Polestar »

I have many temperature data files, most are fine but occasionally when I open the file with Pico Player i can see the number of readings but when I either chart or spreadsheet the data there is nothing visible.
Help please!

Polestar,

When you click on the chart or spreadsheet, under select "Select Channels" are all the channels highlighted?

Hi

I also have a file which wont show any data using player(spreadsheet or graph).I know that data was collected as I had the graph displayed during data collection and the file size(10,688KB) indicates data being there.
I tried opening the file in player then opening the spreadsheet then writing to disk and saving as a txt file.
When I open this the date and time stamps are there but no data!!

Is the file corrupted? any ideas?

Hi,
We can sometimes recover corrupted .plw files but only if you also have a good file available as well with exactly the same settings to allow us to clone the headers across. Even a settings (.pls) file with no actual data will work as well, as long as the channels, sample rate and number of samples, etc are identical. Please contact us on help-desk:-
support@picotech.com
and we will tell you how to send the two files to us.
PeterF.
