2204 Oscope

The spec say it can handle +/-20V. Is that Vrms, Vp, or Vpp?

Hi

It is the instantaneous voltage. If your signal exceeds this it will be clipped at either +20 V or -20 V.

You can use x10 probes if you need to measure higher voltages.

Hi Robin,
Based on what you are saying, scope 2204 with voltage probe set to x10 is it possible to measure voltage up to 200V?

That's correct. However, these probes are NOT suitable for measuring mains. See the following page for our isolated differential probes:
