V6 Offset Nulling?

Post by mhenrichsen »

I have a 3204 and it seems there is a slight error measuring DC voltages (compared to other voltmeters). Measuring a nominal voltage of 1.5V there is approximately a 50mV difference/offset. AC measurements compare quite closely.

Using the "offset null" in V5 the error is eliminated. Is there some way to do this in V6?

Hi,
I am afraid that there is no provision for offset adjust in PicoScope6 in the same way as PicoScope5. You can adjust the trace position using the "Offset" control in "Channel Options" but that does not affect the voltage reading. You can create a new channel using "Channel Maths" and subtract the measured offset to zero the trace. Future releases may have this feature as it will be available for our new 6000 series scopes under PicoScope6.

Can not offset null use V6 +1
Equipment: 3205

Hi, Peter.

When approximately we can have new release? Our customer is dissatisfied.

Sergey.
