RMS Voltage Recording

Post by guy.waugh@chloridepower »

I want to use a Picolog 1012 to record various ac voltages. The attenuators all work correctly and give a clean trace on a scope. However the value recorded on the Picolog vary's greatly suggesting this is not an RMS value but a snap shot. Is this correct and if so is there a simple way to work around?

Hi this depends on what settings you have chosen. What is your sampling interval? Kind regards
