Scope display shows 2 views of each waveform ?

Post by ffortino »

I'm using XP Pro; 6.2.2.12; with 3224 scopes
While setting up my 3224, I have seen the following happen:
The scope displays a high freq. view; then immediately
shows a filtered display of each saved waveform.
What causes this to happen ?
How do I diable this double displaying of data ?

Thanks,

filtering

If I understand correctly, this sounds like normal operation in streaming mode.

When you have filtering enabled and you are in streaming mode (display draws from left to right), the filter is not applied until the capture is complete.

This causes the display to appear unfiltered as it draws across the display and then suddenly change as the filtering is applied at the end just before it goes into the buffer and starts another capture.

Filtering is OFF ?

I do not have Low Pass filtering on, and it still does a double write ?
Is there some other filtering mode I have to turn Off ?

res enhance

Do you have any resolution enhance active (more than 12 bits)?

Are you using a custom probe setting of any kind?

Can you post a data file so we can see your settings?
