PicoLog 1000 series replaces the USB ADC-11

Post by Robin »

The new PicLog 1000 series (http://www.picotech.com/multi-channel-daq.html) are 12 or 16 channel devices that can sample at up to 1 MS/s. They include digital outputs, power output and the PicoLog 1216 includes a pulse-width modulation output. They can be used in the PicoLog and PicoScope 6 software as well as LabVIEW and with other programming languages.

The 1000 series is designed as a replacement for the ADC-11. As such, they can be used in a compatability mode where they will function as an ADC-11 and so can be used as a direct replacement in existing set ups.

The only requirement for swapping out an ADC-11 for the PicoLog 1000 is that the ADC11 driver (usbadc11.dll) is updated. This can be done by installing the latest version of PicoLog (http://www.picotech.com/software).
