Sampling rate of 4224

Post by Guest »

Hi,

I have read the specs, and really considering to buy 4224. I am asking here to get confirmation.

I will use both channel simultaneously. The experiment is about measuring the voltage at 20ms cycle. I want to get maximum data points. Based on the specs, 4224 should be able to sample at 40MS/s for each channel, yield 800,000 samples for one 20ms cycle.

Can 4224 really deliver all 800,000 datapoints in 20ms for each channel?

Thanks in advance.

Hi

Yes this is possible (see the attached image). Note the properties on the right hand side and that the waveform buffer contains 15 waveforms.

I hope this is useful

Actually, you can achieve twice that sample rate on a 20ms capture and sample at 80MHz per channel and collect 1,600,000 samples on each one for a 12.5ns sample interval.

The waveform buffer index will collect 7 of these screens.
