Strange Signal

Post by Guest »

Hello,

I have a little problem, but in fact i don't know IF it is a problem:

The installation worked finde for me and the Pico gets detected.

My problem is that i get strange rectangle signals (a plenty of them), even if there isn't any sensing head plugged into the Scope.

When i plug in my sensing head and put my finger on the contact i get a bigger signal of course.

I also have to say that's my first osciloscope and i haven't much experience with oscilloscopes

-PicoScope 2205
-Sensing head: Testec LF 212

My Settings in PicoScope 6 (it's plugged into CHA)
A: +/- 10V DC (Probe x10/8,0 Bits/Scale 1,0/Offset 0%)
100ms/div
x1,0
16,26

Sorry and i just forgot to say that it jumps between

16,19mV and 6,21 mV when range is set to +/- 1V

52,3mV and 1,273 mV when range is set to +/- 2V

and so on...

Hi Can you save the file as an image or psdata file and either attach it to the forum or send it to support@picotech.com with more information on what you are expecting to see?

Kind regards

Can you try measuring a small battery to see what you get on the screen, perhaps a 1.5V battery.

Kind regards
