NTC temperature sensor graph

Post by eabir »

Hello,

I connected NTC 100kOhm to EXT#1 pins: 1,2 and pins 1 to 3(autodetect) with 100k resistor.

I can see in the graph Y axis between -10deg C to +105deg C, the NTC reading is ~20deg Celsius which is good, but when I'm rising the temperature above ~ 26deg C, then the graph Y axis turning to 0v to 2.5v, why it happens? and how can I fix it.

Thanks,
Eyall

The autodetect resistor should be between 2 and 3

Martyn,

I have now 10kOhm between pin 2 to 3.

The graph is now showing % at Y-Axis, how do I change it to temperature ?

Thanks

What software are you using ?
Why did you chose that specific resistance ?
And have you created any scaling files ?

1. PicoPscope 6.

2. As seen in user's guide:
" The value of the resistor should be selected from one of the following common values: 1k0, 2k2, 3k3, 5k6, 7k5, 10k ".

3. Please guide me how to do the scaling.

Thanks
