Voltage rating of feed-through terminator TA051

Post by medo64 »

Hi,

What is voltage rating of TA051 (feed-through terminator 1 GHz 50 Ω 1 W BNC)?
Is it 20V, 10V, or something completely different?

I checked product page (https://www.picotech.com/accessories/bn ... inator-bnc) but there I see only wattage rating, not the voltage one.

Hi med064,

The voltage rating would be √(1x50) = 7.07V RMS, or for example 20V pk-pk for an AC sinewave (Note that this would be ±10V on an oscilloscope range, and that the value would be different for other waveforms, and signal types).
