PicoScope 3000 not detectected by Picoscope 6

Post by SamShearman »

Picoscope 6 software isn't detecting that I have a Picoscope 3000 plugged in to USB. It shows up in the device manager under "Pico Technology instruments->PicoScope 3000 series PC Oscilloscope" but I get the "No suitable device found." error in the Picoscope software. I'm running version 6.13.6.3775 in Windows 10.

I've tried different USB ports to no avail.

I checked the properties of the driver in the device manager I found that it was running 2.0.6.0 dated 3/15/2018.

Any suggestions?

Please work through the first three sections of the Frequently Asked Questions and if this does not resolve the issues.
Was the scope working? Did it stop working after you updated Picoscope software?
What OS are you using?
(The Linux version has just been updated due issues with scopes using the older 2000 and 3000 drivers. The Mac version is soon to update with the same fix)

Send these details and a trace.xml file to support@picotech.com.
