Disconnecting USB for TC-08

I have an application and sometimes there is a reading error because communication problems then I have to restart the PC to make it work again.

Is there a easy way to reconnect the TC-08 after a break in USB communication (in software)?

Disconnecting USB line while running then I have big problem to start up the TC-08 again. I have error code 12. Cannot find the USB port for TC-08 unit.
