Printing Problems with PicoScope 6.13.6.3775

Post by mwa-austin »

Having problems printing or even print preview. Screen goes blank and reverts to my windows screen. No errors when this happens. Using Windows 10 on a Lenovo ThinkStation with network printers. I know I have printed before but maybe with an earlier version. I have copied the windows event data when this happens if that helps and is attached. Thanks for the help!

Hi mwa-austin,

Please could you repeat the attempt to print and after it fails close the software and locate the trace.xml file as per section 3 of the PicoScope 6 FAQ. This may give some indication of what is happening.

Are you able to print to a pdf file?

I changed the default printer to print PDF and the same thing. I have attached both the xml files, one from the original day of the post and one today using PDF.

Hi mwa-austin,

Thank you for the files.

There doesn't seem to be anything in there that indicates the cause of the issue. Is the Windows operating system up-to-date?

Please e-mail support@picotech.com so that we can discuss this further.

Thanks,

Martyn

It may be worth trying to run the application as an Administrator (Right Click and "Run as administrator") , and see if that allows you to print.
