Pico not found errors

Post by Parker »

Hello all,

I am using a picoscope 6000 to take a large number of captures using rapid block, occasionally during operation, something happens and I cannot communicate any more as every time I get a pico not found error. I'm doing an open, set up, rapid block then close.

It take a PC restart to resolve this issue which is not ideal. Any help appreciated.

Hi Parker,

Which specific PicoScope 6000 Series model are you using and is it connected to a USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 port?

Which version of the PicoSDK is installed and is it 32-bit or 64-bit?

If you are having trouble connecting again after a run has finished, try creating a simple vi that passes the handle value 16384 to the ps6000CloseUnit() function then try running the application again. This may help avoid having to reboot the PC (it is likely that the driver still has a lock on the device).

Regards,
