Offset zero in 3424 series

Post by baggiomartin »

Hello,

I use PicoScope 3424 to digitize some signals that their DC component are 100 times higher than their variations. As the frequency of these events goes from slightly changes of DC component to 500 Hz, a frequency filter is not an option. I use to sum the signal with a inverse voltage on an analog device, in order to cancel the DC component and use the whole dynamic range for variations.

I found the Offset zero button, but in spite of read all the manual, I couldn´t be able of use it. Is this function able on PicoScope 3424? And on 4424?

This feature cancel the DC component before or after the ADC converter?

Thank you,

Could you send in a psdata file of the signal?
The zero button is only a digital offset of the voltage range - ( done after the ADC)
The PicoScope 3424 and 4424 don't offer a analog offset (before ADC) like some of our other scopes (current 300 series).
