3224 scope not recognized on windows 10

Post by schepgi »

I tried to install my old 3224 scope on my new windows 10 pc and got the following failures

A request for the USB device descriptor failed.

Device USB\VID_0000&PID_0002\6&9580071&0&3 was not migrated due to partial or ambiguous match.

Last Device Instance Id: USB\VID_0424&PID_2517\6&9580071&0&3
Class Guid: {36FC9E60-C465-11CF-8056-444553540000}
Location Path:
Migration Rank: 0xF000FFFFFFFFF002
Present: false
Status: 0xC0000719

I tried:
- installing the driver (DPinst) from the system map.
- Deleting the device and installing on all my usb ports.
- changing the USB selective power setting

Now I seem to be out of options :-)...

Can somebody help me please?

Those VID and PID numbers are wrong, our VID is 0CE9

If possible try the device on another PC, and with a different USB cable, and if you are still having issues then email support@picotech.com as the device may need to come back to us for investigation.
