Sensors for marine aquarium

Post by Guest »

I am planning on developing a home-brew aquarium monitoring software application and would like to know if it is possible to connect third-party sensors to the DrDAQ data logger? Is it possible to buy a version which has more than 2 external connectors?

I require the following measurements to be taken (at least):
  • Water temperature
    pH
    Calcium
    Nitrate
    Dissolved oxygen
    Salinity
Is is possible to download a software development kit which contains the interfaces for interacting with the DrDAQ data logger?

Ultimately - if DrDAQ is capable of offering all of the above - I would like to go commercial with this project.

There is just one version of DrDAQ and you may find full details at the following links: http://www.drdaq.com/sensors.html http://www.drdaq.com/index.html

You may use 3rd Party sensors and you will find sensor advice in section 2.7 and 2.8 of the user guide http://www.picotech.com/document/pdf/drdaq044.pdf

You will find the SDK at the following link: http://www.picotech.com/software.html

John
