Attenuators and Current clamps

Post by l927 »

Hi experts! I am waiting to receive my 2204a, will use it mostly for automotive. Have 2 questions:
-Do I need to buy an attenuator? This when I expect to test >10V
- It happens that I own a a H...tek current probe, will it work with the Picoscope in a usable way? Is there any difference (software wise) using a 3rd party probe vs a Picotech one?
thanks very much

The 2204a measures voltages, so provided that any accessories you use will not exceed the input specifications of the device then they can be used.
