Enabling and Disabling ICP/IEPE for powering accelerometer

Post by dchhat »

I have a 2 channel ADC-212/50. I want to be able to enable ICP/IEPE on the second channel, to push out voltage to power an accelerometer. But I cannot find any function in the driver routines that would allow me to do this. The strange thing is that channel 1 seems to have IEPE enable by default but channel 2 does not. I would really like to have IEPE enable on both channels. Thanks in advance.

Hi Dave this was a special for the ADC212/50 it is set in hardware for channel 1 and is permenantly only.

However if you wish to have ICP/IEPE for multiples please feel free to email us at support@picotech.com with a description of your application and we will see what we can do.

Please note that the channels that you choose to have this will be permenantly on. There is no driver routine to switch them on and off.

Hope this helps.
