usb TC-08 reading synchronization

Post by fc_ »

hello, i'm using the usb tc-08 and Picolog in an application with relatively fast varying temperatures (welding).
I'm aware of the fact that the cycle time, with N thermocouples, is 100*(N+1) milliseconds.
What is still unclear, for me, is in which instant each individual thermocouple is read.
A more clear knowledge of the functioning of the unit could permit to interpolate the values and overcome the problem of the relatively slow complessive sampling rate.
Thanks

It is sequential, once you start sampling the first sample will be after 100ms, which will be for the first enabled channel, then after the next 100ms, the second enabled channel, ..... and finally the cold junction before the process repeats.
