Picolog for Linux

Post by bruce »

Hi

I would like to know if there is a Debian Linux version of Picolog for the 1216 logger. I cannot
find any specific reference to this, I have only found Linux for Picoscope.

Thank you
Bruce

We do not have a Linux version of PicoLog, and it is not on the development plans, we would want to rewrite the software before we even considered it.

There are Linux drivers for the PicoLog 1216, with some example code in C, if that helps.

Hi Martyn

first, sorry for my bad english, i hope you understand me. I buy a Picolog 1216 to track an vibration-signal with a Raspberry Pi 3.

I Need 500 messure-points per second. i Need this Data in a Waveform to make some math with this...

every second i want Trigger the 1216 to send a Waveform to the Pi. is this impossible?

now my questions: i install the driver of the device and i only can find the USBTEST (it works well, all ok i think).

where are the some examples? i cant find.Have you any documetation for programming the 1216?

thank you very much!

greeting from switzerland

Maru
