ADC-100 LabView Routines

Post by Keiran »

Hi, some old technology help required if you could:

I have set up an ADC-100 via the printer port and I am able to see signals fed into it via PicoScope, just as one would expect.

However, I have loaded up the three LabView sub-vi's (ADC100_single, ADC100_example, and ADC100_block) and no matter what settings I load into these programs I am seeing nothing, as if they cannot see the device.

I feel I am missing something fundamental, but have little documentation and no idea how to proceed.

Any suggestions/help would be appreciated,
Keiran

Hello Kieran,

If you are using Windows XP or similar, then some of our legacy products such as the ADC-100 no longer have freedom of the Parallel port.

With Pico software applications, the problem is overcome by using our Parallel to USB converter (http://www.picotech.com/usb_parallel_port.html), and configuring the device as USB-PP1, for example.

Regards
John
