info about datalogger

Post by Guest »

Good morning, this is Diego González Olivares from Spain and I have seen
your web over the net.

I am doing a project about registering and monitoring photovoltaic stand
alone systems. I have to measure 8 channels with a resolution of 12 bits.
Do you have any datalogger that I could use? and if you have a product
like that can you tell me a bit more about the measures?are they made
differentially? or referred to a common ground?I suppose I can measure
positive and negative voltages ok if they are differential, and then I can
use that data by the computer.

I have to do the measures about each minute or two or five minutes... and then I want to show them by internet or something like that (so I have to keep them in a computer...) I need to use the datalogger even if the
computer is working or not, is that possible?

I need it for a low cost system so the price is very important, could you
tell me how much is it?and if it is not very cheap, do you have any other
systems I could use?

Thank you very much for everything, best regards.

Diego González Olivares

Hello Diego,

The following link summarises the basic features of our data logging product range: http://www.picotech.com/datatable.html

Our PicoLog software will allow you to sample from milli seconds to hours and, if you require differential inputs, then look at the ADC-20 or ADC-24.

If standalone capability is what you need, then you may wish to consider an EnviroMon based system (http://www.picotech.com/enviromon.html).

Basic prices are listed on the website as is access to user manuals (http://www.picotech.com/document/), demonstration software (http://www.picotech.com/demo.html) and application notes covering remote logging (http://www.picotech.com/applications.html).

If what you need to know is not covered at any of these locations, then do feel free to contact us at technical support by telephone on +44 (0)1480 396395 or email: support@picotech.com

John

Hello John, thank you very much. I have sent two emails but I haven´t had any response, is it normal to wait more than in the forum or for general questions is better to do it right here?
Just tell me if the email is ok so I´ll wait a bit more, thank you very much again.

Best regards, Diego.
