Y - axis resolution / Spectrum analyzer

Post by simply »

Hello!

sorry if I've missed something in the documentation but...

Is there any way to increase the resolution on the Y-axis in
the Spectrum Analyzer? I mean to ie. manually define how
many Hz/division? Currently it seems to be fixed at 5Mhz per
division on the Y-axis and this seems a wee bit BIG...

Either be able to specify Start & Stop frequenzy for the view or
be able to specify how Hz/division or number of divisions on the Y-axis!?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,
Firstly, there ia a new version of PicoScope6 out today, 6.0.12, so download that to be up to date. The X-axis resolution of Frequency is adjusted by setting the maximum required frequency in the Spectrum Range pull-down box. The frequency axis can also be zoomed in by using the Windowed Zoom tool (Select next to the "Hand" in the tool bar). Drag & Draw a box around the area of interest to expand it. Click the "100%" box to return to normal.
Regards,
PeterF.
