Picoscope does not detect my TC-08

Post by ktassenberg »

Hi,
I am trying to set up my USB TC-08 Datalogger on Korora (based on Fedora). I followed the instructions on https://www.picotech.com/downloads/linux for Fedora. I have successfully set the permissions so my user can access the usb device without sudo, which succeeds the usbtest in /opt/picoscope/share/doc/libusbtc08. At this point, Picoscope still does not detect my device.

I compiled the example program for TC-08 downloaded from the git repository and it functioned without issue. However, Picoscope still does not detect my TC-08. I don't know how to proceed.

Hi ktassenberg,

The PicoScope software does not support the TC-08 (the only data logger models supported are the PicoLog 1000 models and the USB DrDAQ).

Unfortunately, the PicoLog software is only available for Microsoft Windows operating systems at this moment in time, so the only option would be to write your own application using the example programs as a basis.

Regards,
