data logger

Hi,

I'd like to log the data output of 2 detectors simultaneously which are usually connected via BNC cables to a multi-meter. The detectors just detect the strength of a laser and output the signal as a voltage.

I require between 1/32 - 128 samples/second for up to between 4 weeks - 30 minutes (~230k samples maximum), respectively.

Also, is it possible to install your software onto a Linux machine?

Which product of yours would best suit these requirements? Perhaps the PicoScope 2202?

Regards,
Brett

Hello Guest,

Provided that the output from your detector is sufficient, then the PicoScope 2202 with the PicoLog application software would meet your sampling and recording requirement.

As the sampling interval must be a whole number in PicoLog, you would achieve 125sps (8ms sampling interval), aquiring 225,000 samples in 30 mins. PicoLog can record up to 1 million samples, therefore, that is well within capability.

At the other end of your requirement for a sampling interval of 32s (1/32sps) for 4 weeks, that would only require 75,600 samples.

It is not possible to install our software under Linux.

John
