On properties that have increment and decrement buttons like Trigger Threshold and Pre-Trigger, as well as things like Number of Samples. If I click more than once on the increment or decrement without leaving a pause in between it cycles to the absolute minimum (if I clicked decrement) or absolute maximum (if I clicked increment) and the value stays there and cannot be changed.
The workaround is to leave a pause between clicking the button again, but it is quite frustrating when I forget and have to restart the GUI.
System info:
Model: PicoScope 2408B
Serial Number: EP210/0041
USB Version: 2.0
Calibration Date: 1 July 2016
Hardware Version: 1
Driver Version: PS2000A Linux Driver, 1.1.6.18
Firmware Version: 1.3.3.0 / 1.0.49.0
The application doesn't lock up but rather the individual value (ie Trigger Threshold) becomes stuck - the rest of the software works but you cannot change that value.
Hi, attached is a trace.xml created using the demo device (no USB device plugged in).
On startup I clicked the "number of samples" decrement arrow twice, and it plummetted at high speed down to the minimum and stayed there.
We have a new beta version for Linux available - please see the release notes here for further information.
Please try this version and if the problem persists, please do let me know and we can investigate further.
Regards,
I was having the same issue with 6.11.13. I could not get 6.12.9-4r35 working, but I did have success with 6.12.9-4r19. I am no longer seeing this behavior in 6.12.9-4r19 (on rhel 7.3)
As an additional follow-up, the buttons that changed to the left/right arrows work nicely for me. (i.e. the main gui), I do still have this problem with the up/down arrows (i.e. in the Arbitrary Waveform Generator gui). If I do not pause enough between clicks, they will count up to their max value and I can not change them until that gui is reloaded.
