-1 v 44hz square wave with or without probe

Post by arrakissystems »

getting a -1v 44hz square wave, -1v offset with or without probe connect, with/without gnd, both A & B channels.
-9v spike on trailing edge transition...

After a power cycle got a simular 44 hz on the + side at approx one volt with noise on the down cycle and spikes to +9v

scope has worked fine for a year, tried 2 different probes,
any idea?

Tried on 2 diff PC's so either something with scope has failed or messed up firmware or software...

is a 2207a device

thanks for help

If possible can you try running on a laptop without it's mains supply connected, and with no other devices attached. If the noise is still present then we may need to see the unit here so would require you to email support@picotech.com

If the noise disappears then something else may be inducing noise on the PC ground.
