Resume recording after stopping picolog

Post by Guest »

I tried searching for this, but came up empty.

Does anyone know how to 'resume' a data session? My PC crashed during a record, and now when I try to 'resume' it says it needs to either start with a new data file, or erase the existing one. Is there no way to append the data to the same file? What I'm after is having the graphing data pickup where it left off.

This is a graph that I'm posting for my community reclaimed water pressure. A separate program grabs a screenshot of the graph and uploads it (via FTP) for the community to see. Now that Picolog has restarted, all of this info will evaporate.

Hi and thank you for your post. You cannot pickup from where you left off if your computer crashed. All I would recommend is to go

File ->New Data->

Give it a new name and that way you can keep your old file. If you want to use the same file name then I would recommend to save the data as a text file and load it up in excel. You can then use that same file, alternatively you can copy the file in a different location as a backup.

Kind regards
