ADC11-USB make my laptop reset

Post by jack pramudito »

dear all

I am new user of PICO product, recently i was buying new ADC11/12 USB and already tried to interface with my laptop. Software interface installation is no problem occur, datalogger software may work correctly, strange operation happened when I use PICOSCOPE software ver 5.15.6 - 32 bit, my laptop always gone to 'blue screen', reporting error at dump memory. I tried with two different laptop (IBM R61 and HP NC6000), both seemed same problem, does anybody can help me solving whats going on happen with my hardware?

Hi and thank you for your post.

What operating system are you using on each of the machine?
What is the specification of the computers?
What settings did you have the software on and actions you have taken for the software to cause this problem?

The more information you can provide the quicker we can find a solution to your problem?

Kind regards

Hi if you could email us the dump file that was created when you get the blue screen, if you go into system properties on you computer and choose the advanced tab and select "Start Up and Recovery".

Then tick the boxes as shown, when the error occurs next time, windows will create a dump file, which will be in the following location:

C:\WINDOWS\Minidump

if you could email this file I will forward it to one of our software engineers to see if they can identify the problem.

Could you send it as a zip file instead because it does not seem to have sent the file correctly. Or you could send me the file as a Private Message. Also could you save the settings you have and send that as well.
