PC3424 input isolation / use with ADF25A

Post by Guest »

Considering purchase of a PC3424 for diagnostic work on our electro-mechanical system. For some measurements I will need input isolation (only to ~ 10 - 20V, not mains). The brochure on 3242 suggests that the grounds might be common, but doesn't actually say it explicitly - please can you confirm either way?

Assuming the inputs aren't isolated, we would consider getting an ADF25A (differential input module) - is there any more info please on this beyond the paragraph on the accessories site (URL not permitted :-( )

Thanks,
Richard.

PS - like the new anti-bot tool, not seen it before. Hope it works...

Hi and thank you for your post.

You are correct the unit is not isolated and the grounds are common.

What information do you require regarding the ADF25A?

Kind regards
