USB to parallell ADC11

Post by Guest »

Hello,
I'm using ADC11 since several years and try to run it on a new laptop, using Picos USB to parallell converter.
My application gets so slow it doesn't work.
How do I solv this problem?

Hi and thank you for your post.

Could you explain in more detail what the problem is? Also, which version of the software are you using?

Let me know how you get on.

Hi,
One part of the application that is very easy to check is a calibration sequence where I make 20 000 calls to adc11_get_value(). It takes around 8 sec in our 5 years old laptop with parallell port but 1 min 2 sec in the new Gateway TA6 with USB to parallell converter.
ADC11/10 is used.

Software (Picoscope) was downloaded and installed just before the test.

This slow action makes it impossible to use the units.

Please try to find a way to solv this.

Hi and thank you for your post.

Could you try taking your samples in PicoLog and see if you get your desired readings?

Kind regards
