DrDAQ is a versatile instrument that connects to the USB port of any PC. Using the supplied PicoScope software it can be used as an oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer and signal generator.
Some of the waveforms that we have captured are shown below.
The waveform below shows the shutter opening for approximately one second. The trace can be compared to the ideal shutter response shown earlier.
As the shutter speed is increased, we can see that a slight slew is appearing as the shutter is closing.
As the shutter speed is increased further then the slew becomes more apparent.
The slew is now quite considerable, the plot is now taking on the shape of the actual response we were talking about earlier.
