Added support for PicoScope 6000 series oscilloscopes

In this release, we've completed adding support for all current real-time PicoScope oscilloscopes in PicoLog 6, by adding the PicoScope 6000 Series.

PicoLog 6 allows you to use your PicoScope as a long term logging device just like a data logger. You get all the advantages of being able to use multiple loggers and scopes simultaneously, up to 320 channels at once! You can even use you PicoScope 6000 with PicoLog 6 on a RaspberryPi now!

There are some limitations of course, PicoLog 6 is, after all, refined for acquiring data in large multi-device/multi-channel setups where sampling speed is slow relative to oscilloscopes. As a consequence, the maximum sample rate is limited to 1 kS/s per channel to maintain database reliability. Other oscilloscope features not available include:

  • Waveform generator
  • Triggering
  • Buffer memory
  • Bandwidth limiter
  • external trigger
  • The PicoScope 6407 is not supported
