The PicoScope 6428E-D Oscilloscope has launched!

We are so excited to announce the arrival of the PicoScope 6428E-D Oscilloscope, a cutting-edge device designed for applications demanding superior performance in signal analysis. The new oscilloscope extends the capabilities of the existing PicoScope 6000E Series, making it an ideal tool for scientists and researchers working in high-energy physics, LIDAR, VISAR, spectroscopy, accelerators, and other high-speed applications.

The PicoScope 6428E-D extends the analog bandwidth of the PicoScope 6000E Series to 3 GHz. Featuring four ranges between ±50 mV and ±500 mV, it seamlessly integrates into various systems requiring 50 Ω measurements. It is the ideal solution for continuous measurements in systems where space and cost considerations are paramount.

For further details, you can read our full press release, or check out the PicoScope 6428E-D Oscilloscope, on our website.

Active Differential High-Voltage Oscilloscope Probes

Our range of active differential high-voltage oscilloscope probes extend the functionality of standard single-ended input oscilloscopes, to allow a safe and accurate method of making high-voltage differential measurements.

Our CAT III differential probes: TA041, TA042, and TA043, all allow the display and measurement of in-circuit, high-voltage waveforms, or waveforms referenced to high common-mode voltage, when used with one of our conventional PicoScopes. As such, these probes extend the capabilities of our PicoScopes to include electrical power conversion, inversion, motor speed control, switch-mode power supply, and much more!

Meanwhile, our TA044 Differential Oscilloscope Probe is perfectly suitable for high common-mode voltage measurement applications up to ±7000 V (DC + peak AC). This allows for the making of safe measurements in power circuit applications and acquisition of low-speed balanced differential signals found in serial communications buses.

To expand the measurement capability of your oscilloscope today, check out our range of active differential high-voltage oscilloscope probes on our website.

Python Programming with PicoVNA® 5 API

In this video, Matthew demonstrates using the SDK by showing how to control the PicoVNA instrument directly using the Python API. Matthew explains some of the key features of the API, shows how to set up a custom measurement, and demonstrates how to retrieve and process the data collected during that measurement.

The cross-platform SDK comes with support for Windows, macOS, Linux and Raspberry Pi 4/5. A freely-available demonstration mode enables you to try out the full functionality of the SDK (and develop your new application) offline, without direct access to a PicoVNA instrument.

Be sure to check out this video on our YouTube channel, or you can visit our code examples on GitHub to get started with PicoVNA 5 API.

Dark Mode now available in PicoVNA 5!

The recent release of PicoVNA 5.2.7 brings with it a number of new features, including a much-requested dark mode colour scheme.

You can download PicoVNA 5.2.7 from our website.
