Release notes
PicoScope 7.1.29 stable
PicoScope 7 T&M stable release (7.1.29.19560) adds features previously deployed in Early Access versions of the software, plus bug fixes and some operating system compatibility improvements.
New features:
- Added four new power measurements and math channels, featuring true power, apparent power, reactive power and power factor.
- Measurement logging improvements - changing measurement settings now starts a new log file, and when loading a PicoScope settings file logging is now off until started by the user.
- Measurement lozenge size setting is now saved as a user preference, so will be retained when re-opening PicoScope 7.
- Differential Manchester Serial Decoder has been added.
- Actions can now export serial-decoded data to a file on a user-defined event.
- Increased maximum buffer size for serial decoding.
- Actions can now save the scope data as a Matlab file on a user-defined event.
- User filenames are now retained after saving or loading files, with an incrementing number added when saving newly-captured data.
- Trigger option controls are now grouped for more intuitive use.
- Trigger delay now has a dedicated control to switch it on and off without resetting the delay to zero.
- Zoom overview automatically closes when zooming out fully with mouse scroll wheel or touch controls.
- Tools in the "More..." tools panel grouped and organised alphabetically to help you find the tool you need.
- Device model and serial number are now displayed in the application title bar.
