- Notes
Here’s what's new:
- Full support for touchscreen devices.
- A modern user interface that places the most important settings and features where you would most naturally look for them to make navigation easier and faster.
- Dark theme is available to help reduce eye strain (and consume less power if using an OLED display).
- Less visual clutter and a consistent style that quickly feels familiar and intuitive, making it easier for you to learn and use (and easier on the eye).
- Full screen mode so your graph can be displayed over your whole screen.
- Personalization to add shortcuts to your favorite tools and make it easier and faster for you to get on with your work.
- Option to set either sample rate or memory depth priority.
- Apply a name to a channel to clearly reflect what you’re using them for.
- Support for multiple monitors, full-screen waveforms, and multiple views, so that you can make the best of your workshop display setup.
- Illustrated Measurement, Probe, and Trigger function icons for easier and faster identification and selection.
- Direct access to the A-Z of PicoScope web content to support just-in-time learning of PicoScope’s features.
Many features have had significant improvements to make them more flexible and intuitive:
- Support for more languages and instant language change as you select it (no restart required).
- More flexible Views can be added, divided and placed in a greater number of permutations and combinations.
- A Waveform navigator (replacing the Buffer overview) for easier scanning for inconsistencies or other effects across all the waveforms you gather in a capture.
- An updated Zoom control that gives you more zooming flexibility across all the waveforms in all your Views.
Please note:
- PicoScope 7 T&M Stable software can be installed alongside PicoScope 7 T&M Early Access; you can have both versions on one Mac. Early access receives regular updates with our latest features to try!
- Update notifications are specific to each version: a PicoScope 7 T&M Early access update notification is relevant to PicoScope 7 T&M Early access. Likewise for the PicoScope 7 T&M Stable.
- The PicoScope 7 T&M Stable and PicoScope 7 T&M Early Access do not share settings, such as Preferences, Favorite tools, Math channels, Reference waveforms, Startup settings, Recent psdata files, etc. This allows you to customize the two versions in different ways.
- PicoScope 7 currently runs over Emulation for ARM64 devices. We’re working towards full native support for ARM64 devices in the future.
Issues we're aware of:
- Mask results aren't working correctly for Spectrum Views.
- Exporting as png will export all saved waveforms as the same image.
