internal noise on Picoscope 4224 ?

Postby libussa » Wed Aug 03, 2011 10:42 am

Hello,
I'm using the Picoscope 4224 to do long term surveiillance with piezoelectric sensors. When I looked at my signals, they showed a weird and constant frequency component.
I'm having a 300 kHz noise at all times. It shows even when nothing is plugged on the scope.
I tried unplugging the power supply from my laptop, turning off every other electrical in the room, and separating the scope from the laptop (2-3 meters), but the noise is still there.

Is this a known problem ? Could it be a defective unit ?

Thanks for your responses.
