I've just installed Pico log software and an ADC12 from the box.
On my laptop running XP Pro the input on LPT1 indicates 5.00V at all times (even if ADC is removed)

The same result is obtained from one of our desktops running 98.

The LPT1 port is set at I/O starting range 378
IRQ 7
Mode in Bios SPP

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear you are having problems with the ADC-12. Try selecting the other LPT ports in PicoLog, sometimes even though the scope is connected to LPT1 the OS thinks its connected to a different port number.

If that does not work it may be worth trying the other parallel port modes available on your PC's BIOS.
