Which picoscope to choose?

Post by Julie »

We are a small specialist special school for disabled students. We require a picoscope which I believe has an inbuilt signal generator? but I am not sure which model to choose. Our old signal generator goes up to 5Mhrz. We are keen to purchase a newer model oscilliscope that can be viewed on the computer linked overhead projector. Will the smallest model 2203 be sufficient? Is there any chance of seeing one before we commit to buying it?

HI Julie,

The 2203 has a signal generator that goes up to 100kHz, all our scopes will work well on an overhead projector or indeed any screen.

If you wanted a scope that can output 5MHz then the 5000 or 6000 series go up to 20MHz.
